Romina Frohar is an artist, curator, and PhD researcher at The Glasgow School of Art whose interdisciplinary practice examines cultural memory, heritage loss, and the aesthetics of erasure. Her recent projects include Nominating Iran, a campaign critiquing UNESCO’s state-centric heritage framework, and the Forensic Archive of Iran, an independent platform documenting crimes against heritage through citizen reporting. Through speculative archives and installation-based environments, her work reimagines how displaced or silenced histories can be remembered and reclaimed.
