Member Meet at House of Toad – Wed 4 Nov

Join us for our next Member Meet on Wednesday 4th November, as we head to House of Toad in the West End.

House of Toad, 23 Park Circus, Glasgow, G3 6AP
Wednesday 4th November 2026, 2-4pm

For those who haven’t been before, House of Toad is a community coworking house and centre for arts and education, tucked away in a beautiful old townhouse at Park Circus, right at the top of Kelvingrove Park.

It’s a space designed around creativity, community and connection, bringing together artists, freelancers, small businesses and grassroots organisations under one roof. There are artist studios, coworking spaces, workshops, exhibitions and events – making it a brilliant home for Glasgow’s creative community.

House of Toad is also a non-profit social enterprise, with its coworking, studio and venue activity helping to support creative education and opportunities for people who can face barriers to accessing the arts.

Come along to meet fellow Creative Glasgow members, make some new connections, catch up with familiar faces and spend an afternoon in one of the city’s most interesting creative spaces.

Member meets are free and welcome to all – we hope you can join us!

September highlights

The clocks haven’t gone back yet, but the jumpers are out and the diaries are filling up fast!

September’s LAST THURSDAY took us to City Halls, where we teamed up with Glasgow CREATE to dig into what the changes to the Scottish Curriculum mean for creative education in Glasgow. Almost 40% of our members work in creative learning, arts education or with young people, and it felt overdue to get the creative and education sectors properly in the same room. Thank you to Kirsty Ferns and the Glasgow CREATE team, Lucy McEachan from Panel and Minnie Crook from 21 Common for their brilliant spotlights, and to everyone who got stuck in with the post-it notes!

We’re still pulling together the details for our next Members Meet on Thursday 29 October, but save the date! We’ll send full details directly to members as soon as everything is confirmed. A Festive Fundraiser

Split Screen returns!

Creative Glasgow x Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

Split Screen is back for a second year, and we’re delighted to be partners on it again alongside the Citizens Theatre, Arcadia and The Work Room, led by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Innovation Studio and supported by the Scottish Government’s Ecosystem Community Fund.

Split Screen brings creative practitioners together to find new ways of folding technology into their practice – 3D worldbuilding, digital avatars, motion capture, and new approaches to movement and performance-making. The first workshops sold out fast, but they are looking for people to showcase at their first meet up. Attendee details below – open to all!

The first meet up is an evening of works in progress and lightning talks from artists and technologists. There’s also an optional SPLIT SCREEN POT LUCK – a rapid-fire round where you say what you’re working on, what you need, and what you’ve got to offer!

Raise Your Game National

Through our partnership with Creative Edinburgh on Raise Your Game National, we’ve been able to offer 12 members free professional development and creative business skills training this September and October. 55 of you applied, which says plenty about the demand for this kind of support. We’re looking at how we meet more of it!
