Join Creative Glasgow member, Emma Rogers, for a series of ceramic workshops.

BEGINNERS CERAMIC HAND BUILDING WORKSHOPS
 
Learn how to make a ceramic vase or mug with Studio Yōki!


During these workshops I’ll guide you through the enjoyable process of creating a unique vessel from clay. I will demonstrate essential techniques and provide support as you learn:

– Getting comfortable with clay properties and preparation.
– Using slab building and coiling techniques to build your vessel’s form.
– Methods for securely joining clay sections and achieving a smooth surface.
– Tips for shaping and refining your unique design.

This workshop is perfectly suited for individuals new to ceramics who want to learn the basics. However, those with previous clay experience looking to practise their hand-building skills are also very welcome. All clay, tools, and necessary equipment for the activity are provided.

After the workshop, I will handle the finishing touches for you – glazing and firing your creation.

We only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example for accounting, reporting or other legal requirements). We have adequate organisational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
