Call Out: Cryptic Nights 2026/27

Cryptic has a paid opportunity for Scotland-based emerging artists to develop existing projects for Cryptic Nights 2026/27.

They are seeking work that combines original sound or music with performance, installation, screen-based art or technology.

Cryptic is particularly keen to support applications from artists who are currently underrepresented in the sector, including Black, Asian or ethnically diverse artists, D/deaf or disabled artists, women and gender expansive artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, artists with caring responsibilities, and artists from a working class or low-income background.

Two advice sessions will be held for those interested in applying: online on Monday 15 September from 18:00 to 19:00, and in person on Thursday 25 September from 12:00 to 13:00 at CCA.

How do we process your information?

Creative Glasgow are the ‘data controller’ for the purposes of this Privacy Notice. We determine the means and/or purposes of the data processing we perform.

Contracts will be in place to safeguard your personal information. We only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example for accounting, reporting or other legal requirements). We have adequate organisational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
