Hello Students!

Last week, we had an inspiring morning connecting with students and recent graduates at the University of Glasgow’s Creative Connections Careers Fair. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to chat with us and sign up for updates—we loved hearing your stories and learning about your creative journeys.

Exciting Opportunities Ahead!

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic upcoming events that we think you’ll love:

SOUP Event for Students & Graduates

Are you a current student or recent graduate in a creative discipline with a brilliant idea you want to bring to life? Join us for Creative Glasgow’s SOUP Event, part of our Developing Creative Lives and Livelihoods Showcase Day, on Wednesday 26 March!

This event, based on the Detroit SOUP model and inspired by similar events around the world, gives students and graduates the chance to pitch their creative projects in front of a supportive audience. You’ll have four minutes to present your idea, and the audience will vote for their favourite pitch. The winning idea will take home the funds raised on the day. Apply now to take part and bring your ideas to life.

Enjoy a shared lunch, network with like-minded people, and make your mark in the creative community.

Symposium Ticket Offer

Don’t miss out! We’re offering a special half day (£6) ticket for our upcoming Spaces & Places for Creatives Symposium. Grab your tickets now and be part of the conversation!

Youth Arts: The Bold Collective

Creative Glasgow is proud to be supporting Glasgow’s young and emerging creatives through our Youth Arts Programme. Currently funded through the National Lottery and The Rayne Foundation, we host workshops, events and training programmes to build on 16-25 year olds creative and professional development within the arts.

Our Youth Arts programme is youth-led. The Bold Collective is our group of young people who meet monthly, online and in-person to decide on upcoming workshops and events. Sharing their practices and current projects, we aim for creatives of all stages to feel welcome and encouraged.

Want to join us? Please contact youtharts@creativeglasgow.co.uk to find out more…

We can’t wait to continue building connections and supporting the incredible talent coming out of Glasgow. Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for future updates and opportunities.
