Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to join us last Thursday for our March members meet. We heard from the creative business owners based in and around The Cooperage in the Southside including Some Great Reward, Seamster Vintage, Inkling, Hot Pink Press, Wild Gorse Pottery and BAWN.
We were thrilled to meet so many new members and see such a buzz of energy, with everyone making meaningful connections and exploring exciting collaboration opportunities in real time. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful our creative community can be!
We’re excited to confirm that we’re continuing to take our Last Thursday monthly members’ meet-ups to new locations around the city, and our next stop is Bridgeton in the East End!
On Thursday 24th April, join us as we explore Bridgeton’s studios and workspaces and hear directly from the creative professionals who make this area so vibrant. We’ll meet at Bridgeton Bandstand (outside Bridgeton Station) at 2pm, where we’ll begin a short walking tour.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow creative practitioners, artists, and businesses from across Greater Glasgow.
- You’ll also hear from the Creative Glasgow team about upcoming events and how you can get involved.
- Have any questions or want to share your own projects? This is your chance to ask, learn, and network.
Following the tour we’ll encourage our members to share their work, promote upcoming events, and highlight any exciting opportunities, resources, or collaborations.
This event is free and open to all—so bring your ideas, your enthusiasm, and your creative spirit!
Are you a studio, venue, or business based in Bridgeton? We’d love to include you in our tour! Please get in touch at programme@creativeglasgow.co.uk to become a stop on the walk.
We can’t wait to see you there!
